Client: Tezkun, online news outlet covering Uzbekistan
A fast news site with sections, stories, exchange rates and a reference section, an editorial app inside Telegram and automatic distribution to social networks.
Challenge
The outlet needed a platform that handles dozens of publications a day, opens instantly on phones, works in three languages and does not require a large newsroom: publishing, translations and distribution run on a schedule while the editor manages everything from a phone.

Solution
The site is built on Astro and Cloudflare Workers with no client-side JavaScript: a front-page style home, sections, story pages with a timeline of source reports, central bank exchange rates with history, a holiday calendar and a reference section based on official documents.
The newsroom works in an app inside Telegram: a queue of materials, editing headlines and texts, scheduled publishing with quiet hours, unpublishing, release settings. Articles are released in Uzbek and English and go automatically to the Telegram channel, Facebook, Instagram and Threads.
For search we added RSS, a news sitemap, hreflang for three languages, IndexNow and WebSub, NewsArticle markup with sources, and edge caching with tag-based purging on every publication.

Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, Threads with per-network limits and UTM tags, comments under articles via Telegram.
Search infrastructure
RSS, news sitemap, IndexNow, WebSub, NewsArticle markup, cache with precise tag-based purging.
